Rock'in with the Jo Bro's!!

Ready to go with tickets in hand. Greyson, Caden, Brynna and Tammy went to see the Jonas Brothers. This was Bel's very first concert and technically Caden's first also (Dishwalla at a food festival when he was one doesn't really count). The build-up to THE night was fun to see. They were so excited!!

The concert was at Nokia Theater in Dallas. I knew that there would be a lot of screaming girls and that it would be loud--however--I expected to hear it once we got inside. Girls from ages 5 to 14 were screaming on there way inside in the parking lot. At that point, I knew my ears were in trouble.
The Jonas Brothers tour bus was cool for the kids to get to see. People had written things like "Marry me" and "I love you JoBros". It was pretty cool!
The kids loved the show. The stage was cool with lots of places for JB to flip and slide. Greyson, Caden, and Brynna sang every song they knew at the top of their lungs and clapped their hands and danced (G not so much-too cool for the dancin part). What a fun experience to be with my kids during a very memorable moment in their lives. I'll tuck it away with all of the other fun things I've been able to do with my kids.
P.S. Byron was a cool Dad and stayed home with a sick Maggie--Thanks Daddy!

"I TWO YEARS OLD!"

Oh, the terrible two's.....it's more like the terribly cute two's!! She's two now. Can you believe it? Time has flown.
We had a little cake with two little candles for her on her big day. We sang "Happy Birthday" to her and blew out the candles. "AGAIN, AGAIN", she said. So, we re-lit the candles and blew them out again. She thought that was pretty fun. She loves to sing the song "Happy Birthday"--but--she sings "Happy Birthday to you, ashes, ashes, we all fall down." She's so cute! I wish I could make time stand still......

Goelz Family Christmas!!!

Goelz Family Christmas--What the Goelz's wait for all year. However, our family has gotten too big, so, we had a change in venue. Instead of it being at Sondra's house, we booked Cobble Stone Golf Club. Therefore, we are officially an 'event'. When we get together (all of us) it is always an event. The food presentation was wonderful and very pretty and, of course it all tasted great! Mom decided to hire a photographer for family pics...Whew...what were we thinking??? It's really difficult to get all those kids, especially the little ones, to cooperate. Hopefully there's atleast one that turns out. Then the fun began. The tradition of Grandma's Junk Box is always a big hit with the kids. The little kids finished up opening their gifts and then they were sent to play games and watch a movie while the adults did 'Dirty Santa'. The beloved gord showed up like every Christmas, while there was another gift, the shell thing, that will get added to the gord for future Christmas's. A fun time was had by all. We are so blessed to be able to get together and share each other's company. We are blessed, also, to have a family that loves and supports each other. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and we pray that your new year will bring blessings.
