Please? Smile for Mommy...and stand in one place!

It was a wonderful, peaceful, fun-filled night when we got out the Christmas decorations and put up our tree as a family. What a great feeling you get this time of year when you're in the Christmas spirit and surrounded by the one's you love. AAAHHH! Then, you ask, nicely, your cute little children to gather round so you can capture the moment that has given you such wonderful, happy feelings. Too much to ask for, I suppose, from the almost 3 year old, a little A.D.D., cutie-pie we call Miss Maggie. None of these shots will be our Christmas card this year, but we got a little giggle while trying.

Wait a minute...Maybe they're all a bit A.D.D.

Very Cute and crazy. I like the one with Brynna leaning on Greys shoulder. It's very sweet.

I saw on Alisons blog that you lost a christmas tub this year...we did too. How is that possible. Seriously where do they go. Our missing tub has all our chrismas music in it along with our stocking hangers. Very sad. Guess we can just hope to find them next year.

I know EXACTLY what you mean!! Why is it next to impossible to get a shot where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. I have friends who send these oh so perfect cards with the oh so perfect picture of their kids and I think I can do it. I can take the perfect picture. Well no it never happens. I usually get a kid who is mad, won't smile or won't look at the camera.
I will have to say you have some great shots in there. Very cute! It says what their personalities are. Maybe next year we'll have better luck.

Haha, very cute. That Caden...it almost looks like he's the one distracting Maggie. Anyway, you should definitely make some kind of collage and put them on the Christmas card...you know, spin it into a cute, funny card. Anyway, tell your kids they're adorable. And pinch their cheeks. Especially Grayson's.

they maybe A.D.D. but they are great. Looks like a fun night with the family. It's all about photo shop anyway. But I am glad the tree is up and the festivities have begun.

You never know what goes on behind the scenes of those perfect cards with the perfect smiles. Especially small children. What did they threaten them with? I think little Christmas elves kidnaps all the children and replaces them with little creatures who are out of control, hyper, giggly, and weird. Sometimes I would think,"Who are these guys?" Chris is right. A collage would be cute.
