Goelz Family Christmas--What the Goelz's wait for all year. However, our family has gotten too big, so, we had a change in venue. Instead of it being at Sondra's house, we booked Cobble Stone Golf Club. Therefore, we are officially an 'event'. When we get together (all of us) it is always an event. The food presentation was wonderful and very pretty and, of course it all tasted great! Mom decided to hire a photographer for family pics...Whew...what were we thinking??? It's really difficult to get all those kids, especially the little ones, to cooperate. Hopefully there's atleast one that turns out. Then the fun began. The tradition of Grandma's Junk Box is always a big hit with the kids. The little kids finished up opening their gifts and then they were sent to play games and watch a movie while the adults did 'Dirty Santa'. The beloved gord showed up like every Christmas, while there was another gift, the shell thing, that will get added to the gord for future Christmas's. A fun time was had by all. We are so blessed to be able to get together and share each other's company. We are blessed, also, to have a family that loves and supports each other.
